A straightforward leek soup can work wonders for the line and the pounds, though there are undoubtedly more creative recipes than the one that is now popular owing to the Netflix sequel of Emily in Paris.

For a weekend-long detox, 48 hours’ worth of consumption is plenty.

Ingredients needed:

  • 1 kg leek
  • Water

Preparation:

  • Clean and wash the leeks well. Cut the green ends from the white part. Only the white is used for the soup.
  • Roughly chop the leeks and cover them with enough water to cover them and place them in a large pot.
  • Cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, to obtain a smooth texture without large lumps.

Depending on the taste, the soup can be heated or drunk at room temperature.

Consume 1 cup every 2 to 3 hours.
