Our children’s diet must be rich in fruits and vegetables. However, we ourselves know that children do not like to eat fruits and vegetables raw, and that is exactly why smoothies are the best solution that children love. A smoothie is a healthy and refreshing drink made in a blender with a powerful motor from fruits and vegetables, with additions of nut products, water, milk or yogurt.

What makes smoothies a favorite among children is the creamy texture we get from the ingredients we use. Smoothies are healthy and easy to prepare, and can be consumed at any time of the day.

They are perfect food not only for children, but also for adults, because they are full of vitamins and nutrients, look colorful and always have a nice and rich taste. Smoothies made in a blender with a powerful motor are great for kids because the fruits and vegetables are perfectly blended and look much more appealing to consume.

If our children do not like spinach, then we can “mask” its taste in the smoothie by adding a banana, apple or orange. We can do the same with parsley and any other green vegetable.

Smoothies are great for breakfast, and that’s why we decided to reveal a recipe for a healthy smoothie that kids literally love.

Smoothie with spinach, apple and banana

Ingredients needed:

  • 1 cup chopped spinach leaves
  • 1 banana
  • ½ peeled apple
  • 1 small cup of cherries, can also be frozen
  • 1 cup of water, milk or yogurt

Preparation:

Cut the peeled banana and put the cherries together with the chopped spinach and apple in a blender with a powerful motor. Then add the glass of water, milk or yogurt depending on what you have decided. Blend until you have a smoothie.

Serve the smoothie fresh.
