Ingredients:

  • 16 oz cubed mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh basil
  • 1 tbsp diced sun-dried tomatoes in oil
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced fresh oregano
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Place cubed cheese in a clean mason jar, leaving room at the top.
  • In a bowl, mix olive oil, parsley, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour this mixture over the cheese in the jar, ensuring it’s fully submerged. Add more olive oil if necessary.
  • Seal the jar tightly and shake gently to distribute the marinade.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for flavors to blend.
  • Enjoy this magnificent Marinated Cheese in Mason Jar, a testament to Mediterranean flavor and charm. Make it ahead and keep it refrigerated for up to two weeks, ready to enhance any meal or gathering with its delightful taste.
