Ingredients:

  • Fresh parsley leaves (about a handful)
  • Water (2 cups)
  • Optional: Lemon slices or honey for added flavor

Instructions:

  1. Wash the Parsley:
    • Rinse the fresh parsley leaves thoroughly under cold running water to remove any dirt or impurities.
  2. Boil Water:
    • Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pot or kettle.
  3. Prepare Parsley:
    • While the water is boiling, chop the parsley leaves finely. You can use both the leaves and stems for added flavor.
  4. Infuse Parsley:
    • Place the chopped parsley into a teapot or heat-resistant container.
  5. Pour Boiling Water:
    • Pour the boiling water over the parsley in the teapot.
  6. Steep:
    • Let the parsley steep in hot water for about 5 minutes. This allows the flavors to infuse into the water.
  7. Strain:
