Himalayan salt differs from ordinary salt in its purity and mineral composition. It greatly helps against dehydration of the body, thus easing the symptoms of migraine.

Migraine sufferers know well that nothing can ruin a good morning more than intense pain in the temples and head. However, there is a belief that Himalayan salt is good for preventing migraines.

Migraines, which are often accompanied by nausea, sensitivity to light and pain, can interfere with your normal functioning. Basically, it is difficult for people suffering from this problem to function normally.

Most people who suffer from this problem have already settled on certain medications that help them function normally, and those who are looking for a way to deal with the condition without consuming drugs may have heard of the use of Himalayan salt.

Himalayan salt can help with migraines, because one of the main culprits for the appearance of pain is dehydration.

Insufficient fluid intake, along with migraine symptoms that include vomiting and loss of appetite, means you lose fluids and electrolytes quickly.

Himalayan salt differs from ordinary salt due to its purity and mineral composition. It is rich in calcium, magnesium, potassium and other minerals.

If your migraines occur as a result of dehydration, then a simple lemonade with Himalayan salt can help you feel better.

Note: Before consuming the drink consult your doctor about possible side effects of salt, depending on your health situation.

Ingredients needed:

  • ¼ teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 250 ml of water
  • A spoonful of honey (optional)

Preparation:

Add Himalayan salt and lemon juice to the water. Mix the ingredients until they are completely dissolved.

After this, add honey as a sweetener. If you don’t mind drinking the salty-sour drink, then you can leave out the honey.

Lemonade is drunk immediately after preparation.

Otherwise, the most common signs of dehydration are: increased thirst, dry mouth, fatigue, decreased need to urinate, headaches, dry skin, dizziness, decreased sweating, decreased blood pressure, slow pulse.
