A prosperous American business came up with the GM or workers’ diet in 1985 with the intention of assisting staff members in losing weight and being healthier.
The diet was founded on the idea that if someone consumes fewer calories during the day than they require, the extra body fat will melt away. At the time, it was as popular as the cabbage diet.
What kind of diet is effective?
First day
All other fruits, excluding bananas, are permitted at the beginning of the diet.
You are permitted to consume as much fruit as you choose, with no quantity limitations.
Second day
Eat vegetables instead of fruits; they can be eaten either cooked or raw.
Having a baked potato for breakfast is an option, and butter is optional.
In addition to providing your body with the necessary amount of fiber and nutrients, this will provide it the carbohydrates and energy it needs.
Third day
On the third day, you can have any combination of fruits and vegetables without any restrictions on type or quantity, in addition to bananas and potatoes.
Because you will get enough carbohydrates from the fruit, you don’t need the potato.
The body is prepared to burn extra calories at this point.
Fourth day
Milk and bananas – Have as much soup as you want, drink as much milk as you want, and eat as many bananas as you want.
Sodium and potassium that the body has lost over the preceding three days are replenished by bananas, making them crucial.
Fifth day
Eat up to two portions of 300 grams of meat and six pieces of beef on the day of beef and tomatoes.
If you eat all the tomatoes, you don’t have to eat all the meat; you can eat as much as you like.
You should consume an extra 2 glasses of water throughout the day.
Tomatoes and meat both include fiber, while meat gives the body protein and iron.
Sixth day
You can eat steak on the sixth day, but you must swap out the tomatoes with any combination of veggies you like.
In addition to steak, you are free to consume as many veggies as you like (2 portions of 300 grams).
The difference in look will be apparent to you today.
Seven day
The final day is completely free to eat anything you want of brown rice, fruit juice, and vegetables.
Note:
Seven days a week, consume 6 to 8 glasses of water and soup (you can eat soup without restriction).
